Michigan LightRay® UV Pipe Lining Page
DR Drain Cleaning uses LightRay’s next-generation UV-cured-in-place technology to repair cracked, root-intruded, and leaking sewer or drain lines in hours, not days, without tearing up your yard or floors.
How LightRay® UV Lining Works
Step 1 – Diagnosis: The technician identifies issues such as root intrusion, grease buildup, cracks, and misaligned pipe joints.
Step 2 – Pipe Preparation: The pipe is cleaned using high-pressure water jetting to clear debris and descaling tools to smooth the interior. This creates a clean, even surface for the new liner.
Step 3 – Secondary Inspection: A second camera inspection is conducted to accurately assess the cleaned pipe’s condition and precisely plan the installation.
Step 4 – Liner Installation: A UV-cured liner is deployed into the damaged pipe without the need for excavation.
Step 5 – UV Curing: The liner is cured using UV light, forming a strong, durable, and root-resistant pipe within the old one.
Why it’s different: UV CIPP cures consistently every time, without temperature risk or messy mixing.
